The Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG, owner of the brand sebamed, is a modern family run business based in Boppard, Germany. In 1983 Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG was installed as the distribution arm of Sebamat GmbH, Herzpunkt Pharma GmbH and Maurer Pharma GmbH.
Today Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG is a globally operating company.
With the well-known brand sebamed, the Sebapharma GmbH & Co. KG has been very successful for many years and is recognized as a competent,
innovative and performance-oriented company. Approximately 200 employees work for the success of the sebamed brand and products in Germany.

Back in the days, our founder Dr. Heinz Maurer provoked the experts with one sentence: “People have been washing themselves incorrectly for 2,000 years.“
At Sebapharma, we consider it our mission to promote human skin health. Our sebamed brand with a pH of 5.5, which, unlike conventional soap, supports the skin’s natural protective layer and keeps the skin’s microbiome in balance. This protects the skin much better against dehydration and harmful environmental influences while keeping it healthy.
We have been successful with sebamed for more than half a century and have an excellent reputation as a global player and driver of innovation in medicinal skin care. For us and our products, outstanding skin compatibility and continuous research into innovative formulations always take centre stage.
