At Sebamed South Africa, operated by Trinity Pharma (Pty) Ltd, your satisfaction and skin health matter to us. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work when you shop at sebamed.co.za, and your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECT Act).

Returns within 7 days (change of mind & cooling-off)

Because you are buying online, the ECT Act gives you a 7-day cooling-off right to cancel your order, without giving a reason. In line with this, we accept change-of-mind returns of unopened, unused products in their original, sealed packaging within 7 days of delivery, for a refund or exchange. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, and original delivery charges are not refundable on change-of-mind returns. Please keep your proof of purchase or order number.

Hygiene and opened products

For health and hygiene reasons, skincare products that have been opened or used cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. This does not affect your rights in respect of defective goods (see below).

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Under the CPA, if a product is defective, damaged in transit, expired, or not what you ordered, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery for damaged or incorrect items, and within 6 months for goods that are defective or of poor quality. In these cases Trinity Pharma will arrange and cover the cost of the return, and replace the item or refund you in full, including the original delivery charge.

Inspection of returns

All returned products are inspected on receipt before a refund or exchange is approved. To qualify for a change-of-mind refund or exchange, items must reach us unopened, unused and in their original packaging.

How to request a return or refund

Email sebamed@trinitypharma.co.za or call +27 (0) 10 594 5610 with your order number and the reason for the return. Our team will confirm the return address and next steps. Please do not send products back before contacting us.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected and the refund approved, we will process it to your original payment method within 10 business days. Card and PayFast refunds may take a few additional days to reflect, depending on your bank. For change-of-mind returns, original delivery charges are not refunded.
